To clean the Cuisinart Coffee Maker, you have to fill a mixture made of white vinegar and water in the ratio 1:2 in the coffee maker.

For example, 1 cup of white vinegar and 2 cups of water.

I’ll explain it with an example.

If your carafe has a capacity of 12 cups, you can use 4 cups of white vinegar and 8 cups of water.

By the way, if you have trouble measuring the amount of the mixture, you can also use CARAFE (since carafe has a graph to measure).

Now, that you have filled the water reservoir of the coffee maker with a mixture made of white vinegar and water, follow the steps given below –

Step 1: Press the Auto Clean button (if you have one in your coffee maker)

Keep in mind, this process takes 2 to 3 times LONGER than the normal brewing process.

If your coffee maker doesn’t have an Auto Clean button, press the Brew button.

Step 2: Run a half brewing process and leave the coffee maker for half an hour

Step 3: Again start the brewing and complete the process

Stopping and restarting the brewing process results in BETTER cleaning of the Cuisinart coffee maker.

Step 4: If you think there are still ground coffee in the coffee maker…

Then you can repeat the brewing process once again by using the same mixture made from white vinegar and water.

Step 5: Empty the carafe and leave it to cool for a while, then fill it with cold water.
