Keurig K-Duo Review USA 2021
The Keurig K-Duo is a dual coffee maker with which we can not only make 12 cups of coffee at a time but can also prepare a single cup if needed.
In this, we also get to see some advanced features, which make the brewing process somewhat easier.
In this Keurig K-Duo review, we’ll find out whether you should really buy it?
Keurig K-Duo Review: Design & Build Quality
Keurig is a well-known brand in America that is famous for manufacturing Brewing systems and Beverage pods.
The design of the new coffee maker K-Duo will appeal to all the men and women who make their morning commute to a cup of coffee.
Even if your kitchen cabinet is a bit small, this best Keurig dual coffee maker will easily fit in it.
The Keurig K-Duo coffee maker is made of plastic, due to which it is quite light in weight but I want to say that its quality is not as good as it should have been.
Maybe you will also agree with me on this point if you buy it.

Coffee Pot & Filter
In this we get a 12 cup capacity coffee pot which is made of glass in which small spout has been given for pouring coffee which makes pouring coffee into the cup very comfortably.
This coffee pot comes with measuring instructions to measure 12 cups of coffee in which we get a lid made of plastic which we can open by pressing with our thumb.
I did not like the quality of its glass that much. When I tested it, I also found its glass a little thin, so you have to be a little more careful while using it, otherwise it may break.
Its filter location is also much better in which we can use paper filter, for which we have to raise the lid of its filter upwards.
We can also easily remove its filter basket, due to which it is quite easy to clean.

In this there is a separate section on the right side for single serve in which we can brew a cup of coffee using K-Cup.
On the back side of this Keurig K-Duo, we have been given a large water reservoir, which has a capacity of 60 ounces.
If I share my experience, I felt a little odd. It is a bit difficult to separate this water reservoir from the Keurig K-Duo as we do not get to see any handle in it.
Although we have been given 2 boxes on the back side of the water reservoir from which we can hold it but they are a bit complicated.
One thing that I did not like is that we do not get any water filter in this. This means we have to filter the water before filling it in the water reservoir or buy a separate water filter.
Overall, the water reservoir works well and a lot of water can be filled in it, due to which we do not need to fill water again and again.

The main part of the Keurig K-Duo coffee maker is its control panel.
This allows us to program the coffee brewing process upto 24 hours in advance.
Apart from this, whether we want to make coffee for the coffee pot or single serve, both can be controlled with the buttons present in this control panel.
What size coffee cup do you need for a single serve or how many cups of coffee you want to brew in the coffee pot? You can control it with 4 buttons present in it, which we can use something like this –
- 6 Cups or 6 Ounce
- 8 Cups or 8 Ounce
- 10 Cups or 10 Ounce
- 12 Cups or 12 Ounce
Some people like strong brew, though I’m not one of them, but for such people, the Keurig K-Duo coffee maker has a dedicated button that helps for a stronger brew.
With the Keurig K-Duo coffee maker, we’re given 30-inch-long cords that allow us to use them even from a short distance from the switch.
I have no complaints about its quality. They look very premium and long lasting.

Keurig K-Duo Review: Performance
The Keurig K-Duo is undoubtedly one of the best coffee machine for brewing, but when you go for a single serve, you’ll find it takes about 2 to 3 minutes, which is a bit more than its competitors.
On the flip side, if we talk about its carafe, then it takes about 10 minutes to fill it.
If you’re someone who doesn’t like noise at all, you might have a issue with it.
Although I am not saying that the Keurig K-Duo makes so much noise, not at all.
But if we talk about Keurig K-Duo Plus, then Keurig K-Duo makes a little noise compared to it.
The performance of every machine depends on its maintenance. The more you maintain this Keurig K Duo, the better its performance will be.
The best practice is that you should clean it thoroughly every 4 to 5 months so that it gives you better performance.
At the same time, if we talk about the taste of coffee, then I can say that Keurig K Duo works very well.
But if you are one of those people who tends to drink very hot coffee, then I would like to tell you that the coffee temperature of this Keurig K Duo coffee maker was a bit low when I tested it for the Keurig K-Duo review.
Overall, its performance is quite good and if you are looking to buy Keurig K Duo but are getting confused, then you can go for it.

Yes, with the help of the control panel located on the top of the Keurig K-Duo coffee maker, we can program it upto 24 hours.

If you use it properly and keep cleaning it from time to time, it can easily last for 2 to 3 years.

Keurig K-Duo Review: Final Overview
Keurig K-Duo has elegant design and comes with better programmability and advanced features which provide us better brewing experience.
With the help of this coffee maker, we can not only make a single cup of coffee but can also easily brew an entire carafe but I found it lacking in more sophisticated features.
If we review Keurig K-Duo keeping all these features in mind, then it is undoubtedly one of the ideal coffee maker but at the same time its price is a bit high to my liking.
Because if we look at its competitor coffee makers, then we get better features in them at a lower price.
But if you don’t have any budget issue then you can feel free to go for Keurig K-Duo.
